How to get to Villa Tunari

 From Cochabamba:

The buses to Villa Tunari leave from the end of Oquendo in Cochabamba. Any taxi driver should be able to take you there. It is preferable to take the smaller "rapidito" buses as opposed to taking the larger "flotas" because they are much faster and cheaper.

From Santa Cruz:

The best way to get to Villa Tunari from Santa Cruz is to take a bus going to Cochabamba. Be sure to mention to the sales person that you only want to go as far as Villa Tunari as it will make a big difference to the price of your ticket.

Hostal Villa Tunari:

Some volunteer accommodation is in Hostal Villa Tunari which is located on the corner of Calle Santa Cruz and Avenida Benigno Paz in Villa Tunari.

How to get to The Foundation:

Once you have reached Villa Tunari, which is on the road between Santa Cruz and Cochabamba, you are almost there. From Villa Tunari you take a taxi to ¨Castillo¨ which is the big, yellow building just left of the checkpoint. You will be dropped off beside a military checkpoint with some small food stalls on both sides, and then you can either walk 400m or take a moto-taxi and ask for the “Fundación”.

If you are walking, pass through the military checkpoint and continue on the small cobbled road for about two minutes and you will see a green building on your right – welcome to the Foundation! Just ring the bell and someone will be happy to let you in.
